I Am Hunter WAtson

Muscle Shoals, Alabama U.S.A.

A place where musical legends, iconic songs, and Hunter Watson were born.

The recording artist turned actor broke into the international spotlight in 2016 after being featured on AMC's "The Walking Dead" as one of Negan's "Saviors" and appearing as "Big Johnny" on Tyler Perry's "Too Close To Home" on TLC.

Hailing from a place where rich musical heritage and talent is as common as oxygen, the entertainment industry veteran has risen to fame since his journey began in 2009.

The former Day's Distance vocalist (2009-2012) formed Call of All with Ages Apart front man and guitarist Cody Webb after his departure from Day's Distance and year long hiatus in early 2014. The two met while touring together, both being natives of the Muscle Shoals area.

In the early years, Hunter Watson began writing songs at the age of 15 on his only acoustic guitar to later discover his voice at 17 years old. He formed Day's Distance in 2009 (founded alongside Corey Lawson, and the late Jacob Sanders) and received numerous accolades independently from becoming MTV partnered's #1 rock artist over world wide competition in excess of 170,000 artists, to performing at Austin TX's renowned SXSW in 2011. After their self titled debut album "Day's Distance" in 2010, the group released their sophomore effort "Alive and Wasting" in 2012, featuring former Saliva guitarist Chris Dabaldo on the track "Scars", with singles "The Truth" & "More Than You Know" going on to top radio station charts at #1 and #3 respectively on both Rock and Top 40 formats in the southeastern United States against major label artists.

Fast forwarding to 2014 Hunter Watson began recording Call of All's debut record "War & Illusion" with Cody Webb. The record's release was delayed as Call of All vocalist Hunter Watson began to emerge in the Atlanta, Georgia film and television industry in 2015. He secured a principal role in 2016 with Tyler Perry in only his first 9 months as an actor, garnering even more attention across multiple industry platforms.

After a stellar breakout year in 2016 from his additional featured appearances on network television shows such as The CW's "The Vampire Diaries" & "The Originals" and feature films such as Tyler Perry's "Boo! A Madea Halloween" and The Divergent Series "Allegiant", Hunter Watson continues to burn in the spotlight in 2017 with the coming release of Call of All's Debut Album "War & Illusion" and has even brighter expectations.

(In loving memory of former Day's Distance guitarist and best friend Jacob Sanders. Jacob and brother Jeremiah Sanders both lost their lives in a tragic boating accident in March of 2016.)

Gone, but never forgotten...
